Nominee Director / Shareholder

Under the Singapore Companies Act a Private Limited Company in Singapore must have at least 1 local resident director, which made up of either:

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
• A person who has been issued an Employment Pass, Entrepreneur Pass or a Dependant Pass by the Singapore Government.

Clients are advice to find a local resident director in order to proceed with the Incorporation of a Private Limited Company in Singapore.

However, if you have difficulties in this aspect, we can try to seek a local resident director to act as nominee director for your company to fulfill the statutory requirement.

Our nominee director will have no power or do not have any role in the operation of the company.  You can terminate the nominee director service anytime once you have found an alternate local resident director.
